Here’s a BBB review someone left about Bankers Collection.
![A customer had their vehicle at our shop for repairs, and it was
repossessed , by Andy from Bankers Collection , he did not
provide ID or paper work for the repossession or phone
numbers. The customer still owed money on the vehicle for
some repairs. This is not the person who owed the vehicle
property but a place of business and Bankers Collection
trespassed and took a customers vehicle with out any cause or
proper paper work. There is no way for us to prove he took it
and the customer wants to know what happen to their vehicle.
Andy from Bankers Collection came to a business and took a
vehicle that is not his and did not offer any paper work for proof
of what he did.](https://www.suethecollector.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/BBB-Checkworks.png)
This is a great example of an ILLEGAL repossession of a vehicle. This consumer would have a case.
Bankers Collection cannot repossess a vehicle by TRESSPASSING on anyone’s property. Doing so is a “Breach of the Peace” and violates 1692 F(6) of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. These cases can result in compensation to the consumer for having their vehicle taken when the repo agent trespasses on private property.
